There are the people in our lives we call friends without realizing the meaning. I genuinely love people and would love to say I have lots of friends. In my heart I do but often wonder if the lack of time I have to show them I care will break the bond I feel. Today I closed on a property for one of those friends!
I have been through some tough times in life as so many of us have. I have met many great people along the way that helped see me through in more ways than one. As life has changed I have not had the same quality of time with some of them. Today I was shown that I am not the only one that believes once a friendship is formed it can stay with you through life even when we let life take us in new directions and don't make the time we all wish we would. I tend to feel this way about people that get too busy for me. I don't turn my back, rather I wish them well and look forward to the day we can catch up even if that means years.
