Connecticut Real Estate News & Community Info: July 2009

My head is swimming with thoughts and ideas of success! No I'm not over whelmed with work, I'm over whelmed with joy of delivering a service many have longed for. I have worked with many agents in the past and was given the service I needed but never did I experience their passion for life its self. To me they were average and I got what I needed but have no reason to show loyalty in the future which would send me to anyone else because the connection was never formed. It was business as usual. I'm going to do it a lot different!

While out showing some of my clients properties this past Sunday we took an ice cream break. It was so nice to deliver what was expected but to have quality time with this couple meant more to all of us than simple service can ever offer. No I'm not the expert in all fields of Real Estate but I am persistent in my pursuit. If I don't know something, I'll find out quickly and deliver. I'm not afraid of the investigating necessary for success, it's part of the job. I want to deliver a service that offers more than the transaction, I want to deliver comfort, enthusiasm and service all on one silver platter. I want my clients to know I want to know them for life and service their hearts as well as their minds.

Genuine Passion for people is going to spread like wild fire and I will soon be over whelmed with work and a need to share. When that day approaches I'll let you know! Fear holds us all back at some point in our lives! Recognizing it is the first step to freedom!

Although I did a lot of moving and lived in several states changing careers in my 40's has had to be one of the most challenging things I have done. Accounting has always been my passion and when I decided to leave it behind and give Real Estate a try it was my desire to help my family that gave me the nerve to take the chance. A stay at home mom for 20 years managing a family business and then working as a controller for 5 years I never saw what was to come. I loved what I did but wasn't happy with the 9-5 structure nor the amount of time accounting forces one to spend alone; it takes a lot of concentration and patients. I longed for people, interaction and movement in my life. When my daughter asked me to join her dream of having a full service Real Estate Agency I thought I'd be in the office as usual. As I watched my daughter flourish I saw a lot of myself that I never unleashed.

Fear was the obstacle and I can't explain why; it has a life of it's own! I've always been so strong and outgoing and when I found myself in a career where I could be both I felt frozen, inadequateand and weak. I am quickly realizing that there is no basis for fear, it creeps up on you and all we really need to do is recognize it for what it is, push through and go for it any way. I know I have a lot to offer and that I genuinely care about people. Buyers and sellers need us and we need them! Being needed has always been what has driven me and when I push through the fear and give of myself I know I'm serving a need out there that many have a hard time finding. I'm going to stop the fear in it's tracks and let everyone I encounter know how I can assist them with all of their Real Estate needs!
